I know that guy as well Mary Nett. He's an as*hole! He wouldn't sell to me because I had a Mass ID and not a liquor ID. What bothered me is that he smirked, giving me the impression that he was taking great joy in it all. Go to Kentucky Liquor or Powers Package Store instead.
Similar experience yesterday with my special needs son age 28. The jerk behind the counter was rude and insisted on carding him because he was with me, a regular customer of 10 years. It was confusing for my son who was simply standing next to me (I'm 62). The guy was really rude and on some kind of check ID power trip. OK, I get being compliant with state laws etc, but they crossed a line. Will never go back. Kentucky or Dions has better prices and selection anyway. Bye Rich! Hope others follow.

I encountered the RUDEST man behind the counter. He would not sell to a woman in front of me because she had an out of state license. She was clearly over 21 (no offense m'am). He argued with her & said there was a sign on the door saying they don't sell to out of staters - She went to look and he screamed at her! Not yelled, SCREAMED! I was actually afraid that he was going to get violent he appeared so angry.
