As for the shoes, they look great and despite being leather soled, they are more comfortable than some of the rubber soled shoes that I own. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Scott at the Natick store was fantastic. He helped me choose a great pair of shoes from the large selection of styles and colors. When it turned out that they didn't have the pair I wanted in my size, width and color anywhere in the US; Scott put in a factory order and had them shipped directly to my office at no extra charge.
My husband usually has a problem getting shoes because he has an extra wide foot. That is until we discovered Allen Edmond Shoes in the Natick Mall. The sales person (Scott) really took the time with him. He knew the products and did not give up until my husband found a comfortable fit.

The soles were not only rubber making them more comfortable and stable compared to leather soles but they also come with a cork lining that molds to your foot for a perfect fit, I wanna say it was destiny! The Body of each Allen Edmonds shoe is made of super fine leather that is so soft there is zero break in period on them. So I bought several styles and I left the store wearing a pair and havent taken them off since, that was 3 months ago. Scott even hand delivered a pair to a friend of mine who was in from out of town and the airline had lost his luggage and he needed a pair of shoes the next morning for a meeting, talk about service! Needless to say I wont be buying shoes from anywhere but from Scott at Allen Edmonds for the rest of my days.
I can classify my shoe buying career in two distinct phases: life before Allen Edmonds and life after Allen Edmonds. After receiving emphatic recommendations from friends I went to see Scott, the manager at the Natick store. He really knows shoes and really knows the products well. He could tell you the pros and cons of each product: how it fits, how it wears, how much it stretches, the construction, the soles, everything... Importantly, not only did I get a high quality product, but after talking with Scott I better understood why it was high quality. While the shoes can get a little pricey, the value that youre getting is well worth it and they last. Did I mention the recrafting service? Brilliant! Ive already purchased two pairs of shoes from Allen Edmonds, and I plan on buying the rest of my shoes there.

The shopping experience was easy and enjoyable (and it's not often that one can say that nowadays).
As a matter of fact we purchased two styles. The second shoe was unavailable in this store but Allen Edmonds offered to send it to him. We were quite pleased.
When I'm ready for my next pair of shoes, while I don't know what style I'll be getting ... I know I'll be heading back to the Allen Edmonds store in Natick.
