The prepared foods are pretty good, and if you get items on sale the can occasionally undercut Stop & Shop. But... DO NO BUY DELI MEAT HERE! They precut lots of meat then leave it lying out on a cooling table. So if you go ask for something, they just pull it off and toss it in the bag. Saves you 30 seconds of cutting, but the meat goes bad in half the time and I got sick from it twice.
The strip mall where Roche brothers is located also has a Bank if America ATM, a Walgreens, and across the street a packy and a pizza place among other small businesses.
I love this Roach Brothers. The groceries are not cheap, but the excellent prepared food, selection, quality baked goods, fresh fruit and short lines make it a frequent stop for me on my way home.
They have a very nice prepared food section, and they have a very nice selection of baked goods as long as you're not in a no carb mood.
This is a good, local supermarket. It's not the cheapest place you'll find, but it is pleasant, well laid out and the customer service is very good.
This is an awesome grocery store plus! I come here for things I can't get at Stop N Shop. They have more check-outs for 10 or less items and are fast and efficient. There are a few food bars where you can get items by the pound as well as deli counters off fresh items. I LOVE this place!
Pro: Store clean and fresh produce. Lots of choices. Prices higher than area markets (some items $1 higher) so don't shop often.
