It will be said to see SEARS go, but when you walking into their store in Natick you know why they will be gone. I chased someone to help me for 22 minutes... Employees walk by you, look at you and keep walking. Especially the white hair gentleman with glasses who does give a dang about people. Lucky him his exit is coming up pretty soon!
I went in to see if I could get my watch resized and asked for assistance. The manager was called since there wasn't anyone specifically there for the jewelry and watches section. The gentleman that called followed up with me a moment later and waited nearby until the manager came out. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was told to head down to the watches and jewelry repair where the gentleman working there was also very helpful and quickly resized my watch. Overall, the staff over there was much kinder and gave exceptional service. (Especially since I had just come from the Macy's across the way..and they acted as if they were almost bothered by me being their and having to answer my questions.) Sears staff, keep up the good work!
Recently we purchased a combined washer/dryer. Bob Goldman at the Natick Store was our salesman. He was extremely helpful with our choice, but I had to measure the space. Bob gave me his cell phone number and I called back. The unit would fit; I told him that I would be back on Sunday to purchase the unit. On Sunday he called to ask if we we were still going to ourchase it. He was unexpectedly given the day off and asked me to go through the assistant manager, which we did. Just before the unit was to be delivered, I called Bob to ask if the delivery could be delayed a couple of weeks, since the carpenter was delayed in getting the space ready. He called the delivery dept and go us our new date, When the unit came, we did not have the extra hookups needed. I called Bob in panic. He agreed to stop over our house and personally deliver the parts. We are very grateful and think Bob Goldman deserves a high five!!!
